I´m thinking`about Gov`t Mule, Allman Brothers, or old POINT Blank records when I first listen to THE SAVOY TRUFFLE CD, founded 1990 since in the same lineup two drummer, bass, leadguitar and vocals. The idols are unmistakable, Warren Haynes, Dickey Betts, Grateful Dead, Butch Trucks and a few more. Which are not called is this Band only copied - completely in the opposite. All Songs on that CD are self-compositions, which must hide themselves before your models in no way. Headin ' Out to California a Song like the Allman Brothers could not have made better. Waste of Time is a Ballroom burner. Sometimes you can hear Dobro, Congas and Acoustics - Guitar. This CD is a must for all fans of Jam and SouthernBands.
