VIAJE A 800. New LIVE album on pre- order.


Ha pasado largo tiempo desde la salida del que ha sido finalmente el último disco de estudio de VIAJE A 800, ‘Coñac Oxigenado’ (Alone Records, 2012). Después de asimilar durante un largo tiempo la separación de VIAJE A 800 como banda, aparece ahora un nuevo disco, esta vez en directo, que recoge el que fué su último concierto en Andalucía, con un excepcional repaso a toda su discografía, desde ‘Patio Custodio’ a ‘Solo’, pasando por ‘El Amor…’, ‘Los Ángeles…’ o ‘Tagarnina Blues’, destacando la colaboración de Antonio Arias de Lagartija Nick en el clásico ‘El Amor es la víctima’, interpretado junto a la banda.

VIAJE A 800 han disfrutado desde siempre de un excelente reputación como grupo de estudio, y con directos incendiários y míticos. La trayectoria del grupo nunca disfrutó de una gran estabilidad, alterada siempre por multitud de inconvenientes, aunque no tanto su creatividad. Aún así, hablamos de un grupo que en 15 años de existencia, ‘solamente’ generó 3 álbumes de estudio, y cuyo reconocimiento ha llegado tarde, pero ha llegado. Recientemente un documental ha rendido tributo a su legado musical, y Alone Records, su sello de toda la vida, les rinde homenaje en este disco directo con la alegría de haber podido formar parte de la historia de una de las grandes bandas de rock de la historia de nuestra tierra, de todos los tiempos, justo cuando Alone Records celebra sus 15 años como sello.

‘Alguién murió bajo las ruedas de El Tren… en Directo’ es el título de esta primera grabación oficial fuera del estudio, recogido en cinta el 19 de Abril de 2013. El disco se presenta en formato de doble vinilo y portada abierta y limitado a 500 unidades con poster incluído, con espectacular diseño de Antonio Ramírez. Producido por Viaje a 800, Juan Sánchez y Alone Records.
La edición CD no es menos modesta: Digipack de 3 paneles con impresión por lado rugoso.

La fecha oficial de salida es el próximo 22 de Junio.

Alone Records new release announcement: ‘Endless Voids’, by DEAD NEANDERTHALS

Alone Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of ‘Endless Voids’. This is the album title that the Dutch harsh free jazz duo DEAD NEANDERTHALS chose for a very special project entirely performed at Incubate Festival 2014. They invited a group of stellar musicians from all around Europe for one monolithic and grotesque concert. During the 80 minute ‘Endless Voids’ performance, elements of drone, doom, noise and free jazz are combined and transformed into something that can be seen as the soundtrack to the apocalypse.

Pre-orders start on March 9th, and a release date is planned for May 25th.

ORTHODOX / DEAD NEANDERTHALS – Spain/Portugal Tour 2015



Orthodox was born as a trio in Seville (Spain) in 2004. Their music, initially framed in the so called “doom metal”, incorporates elements of drone, jazz or stoner rock. They’ve played at international festivals such as HellfestRoadburn,Supersonic or Primavera Sound and they have collaborated with artists such as the musician and writer Julian Cope or flamenco artists like Israel Galván,Terremoto or Inés Bacán.

Orthodox accumulate an extensive discography with four albums and other ep’s, cassettes, etc… Their last edition, “Conoce los caminos”, is a compilation of rare material from 2005 to 2010. They’re currently working as a duo open to all kinds of collaborations and experiments following the eclectic and unpredictable nature that has always been part of the band’s idiosyncrasy.

Dead Neanderthals is a Dutch/UK based double sax & drums trio incorporating elements from jazz, grindcore, drone and noise culminating in a pummeling sound that has been described as Painkiller meets Brötzmann.

Dead Neanderthals just released their new album PRIME, heralded as their “ultimate statement” and “a wake-up call to anyone who thought free jazz was a dying art”. PRIME is a single, unrelenting 40-minute piece, with no “solos” or soothing interludes. Dead Neanderthals will perform the album in its entirety.

MARCUS BLAKE: new album and spanish tour!

Marcus Blake should need no introduction at this point. Bass player for the american band Mother Superior(and former member of the Rollins Band) presents a rock album that shows the good taste of a true professional without losing freshness and spontaneity. “Distorted Hymns” will be released on November 3rd.

Thanks to his long career (session musician, arranger, composer …) some friends of Marcus Blake did not hesitate to walk through “Distorted Hymns”Henry RollinsLisa RonsonSparks,Jason Schwartzman or great producers as Mack (QueenELO, …) or Brian Kehew (The WhoFiona Apple …)

“Distorted Hyms” will be released on CD digipack and vinyl limited to 300 copies. It will be the first edition of Bonehouse Records, a new label born under Alone Records’ wings in order to release different stuff than the usual in our catalog.

The release date will coincide with his Spanish tour, which includes a gig in the next Serie Z edition (November 1), where there will be copies available.
