Tras hacerse un merecido hueco en la escena nacional e internacional con su debut "Gone, but never forgotten…" y presentarse como uno de los grupos revelación del Doom Shall Rise Festival de 2006 (compartiendo escenario con bandas de la talla de Solitude Aeternus o Debris Inc.), Glow vuelven con "Dive into the sun" consolidándose definitivamente como una banda imprescindible a tener en cuenta en el panorama doom rock internacional.
Con respecto a su álbum debut, aquí encontramos una clara evolución en las composiciones con temas aún más elaborados y muchos más matices, siempre manteniendo sus riffs sabbathicos y la inconfundible voz de Ralph. Han contado además con la colaboración de Txiki de Soulbreaker Company, añadiendo con su hammond un sutil aire "Purpleiano".
Nombres como Black Sabbath, Trouble, The Obsessed, Solace, Abdullah o Goatsnake se te vendrán a la cabeza escuchando "Dive into the sun" pero también se percibe claramente como la banda ha desarrollado personalidad propia y una forma muy personal de hacer las cosas que les desmarca del resto de grupos que se esconden bajo la etiqueta del doom sin nada que decir.

“Gran Poder” es el álbum debut del trío sevillano Orthodox. La primera piedra de la catedral Sonora a la que piensan dar forma, paso a paso. En esta primera grabación, sus influencias musicales (Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Melvins, Venom, Sleep…) se mezclan con su peculiar percepción del ritual y el folclore religioso andaluz. El resultado es una música litúrgica de riffs repetitivos, minimalismo, feedback, distorsión, y drones infinitos creando una sensación de primitivismo que induce al trance y se convierte en la perfecta banda sonora de los aspectos más oscuros del cristianismo: opresión, pecado, dolor, culpa y sufrimiento.

¡YAWNING MAN filmados en directo por primera vez para un DVD!. El show fue grabado en la W2 de Den Bosch (Holanda, misma sala donde HERMANO han grabado también su DVD en directo), el 17 de Junio de 2005. recorded live performance for a DVD release. The show was recorded at W2 club in Den Bosch (NL), on June 17th 2005, durante su primera gira europea que empezaron tan sólo un día antes el día 16 en De Engel club de Den Helder (Holanda).
5 camaras y el mejor equipo de la sala se encargaron de ello. Con VJ Stalker en la grabación cámara en mano. ROADBURN también estuvo presente con su increible video show. También fueron los encargados de la grabación y elaboración de la entrevista exclusiva que incluye este DVD.
Estas grabaciones son ahora parte de esta edición especial que incluye "Rock Formations" como cd extra formando una edición única y limitada a 500 copias.
Este DVD es sistema PAL.

The band was born in the middle 80´s and it´s currently formed by: Alfredo Hernandez - drums (Across the River, Sort of Quartet, Kyuss, founding member of Queens of the Stone Age, Family Butcher, co-founder of Che and member of Desert Sessions); Mario Lalli - bass (Fatso Jetson, Orquesta del Desierto, Across the River, The Sort of Quartet) and Gary Arce - guitars (The Sort of Quartet, Oddio Gasser, Ten East).
The release plan starts with "Rock Formations", a collection of 10 new tracks recorded in late 2004. "Rock Formations" includes 10 new tracks recently recorded by YAWNING MAN. The band shows what it´s going to be one of the most celebrated albums during 2005. YAWNING MAN´s unique musical style takes the highly aclaimed Brant Bjork´s "Jalamanta" like the way to follow with their new songs. We could say that "Jalamanta" followed a way opened by YAWNING MAN years earlier. Needless to say that Gary Arce as well as Mario Lalli recorded additional guitars on "Jalamanta" and Mario sings in one of the tracks. This colaboration was a proof of respect and admiration that Brant Bjork feels for YAWNING MAN.
YAWNING MAN was the band that John Garcia (Kyuss, Hermano) and Brant Bjork used to see rehearsing when they were teenagers. In his own words, B.Bjork said about YAWNING MAN that they are the best live band he has seen ever.
Needless to say how important the YAWNING MAN´s music has been in order to understand the desert rock music scene since the middle 80´s. YAWNING MAN was responsible for influencing music in the desert and creating a sound which today is still trying to be duplicated.

Without giving a break after the great "Rock Formations", Yawning Man strikes back with "Pothead", a 10'' with four songs where they cast aside their surf vibe and develop their experimental side."Pothead" continues the trip that "Rock Formations" began and goes deep into the desert darkness in a way that just a Pink Floyd covered in sand could do. Long tunes, pychedelic and evoking, that show the same landscape from a more intimistic point of view.
In this point, there´s no need to introduce Gary Arce, Alfredo Hernández again. The list of proyects where they have been involved asImain member or just as special features gives an idea of the high quality of the musicians we´re talking about: Sort Of Quartet, Fatso Jetson, Kyuss, Oddio Gasser, QOTSA, Brant Bjork, Orquesta del Desierto, Desert Sesions, Ché, Vic Dumonte... The recording sessions features Billy Cordel (Unida) on Bass.
Enjoying the integrity, coherence and freedom wich allows being apart of the mainstream, Yawning Man follows their own path without forget that enjoying music is always the big goal in every proyect they take part of. Something (sad but true) not very usual in the big rock scene today. And make sure you can feel that in their music.

This current release wants to introduce 2 recordings in just one cd, as a re-release from a great debut album ("Fooz") and secondly, a whole vision of their short musical career. "Fooz II: Space is Dark...", Is more than a tribute or compilation. The release includes all the songs recorded by FOOZ in their 4 years of existence.
The release can be divided in 2 stages:
The first one, in order of appearance, introduces the acoustic recordings that would have become an EP, to be released before their second album (that never was recorded), or to be used like b sides for future singles or different releases.
6 tracks, that include 3 revisited songs from their first album "Fooz", 1 previously unreleased track even in an electric treatment ("There´s a Place"), that now is included on this edition, plus 2 amazing covers ( Hawkwind´s "Space is Deep" and Pink Floyd´s "Astronomy Domine", 2 essential bands to understand Fooz´s main influences since their early days, also with The Who and Black Sabbath.
The new covers of inner and outer tracks recorded by FOOZ, told us about the posibilities and versatility of a band that could reach much further than they really did. The likes for improvisation, or how easy they catch the vibe to cover other´ songs in order to make them easily recognizable as Fooz´ songs, but being loyal to the original versions at the same time.
The second stage, belongs to "Fooz", first album release.
The current release includes the original mixes, rawer than the one released in 2001. This new release also includes 3 previously unreleased tracks, never included on "Fooz": "There´s a Place", "Leaf Tale" y "Flower´s on Me".
"Fooz" final master left out these 3 tracks that deserved to be released as well, being included in the same track order just before the final cut that left them out.
Fooz are the keepers of the Golden Chord, purveyors of the Sun Spirit and avatars of the Great Love Vibe. The ebb and flow of the energies of the greats brought directly to your ears. The hallowed spirits of Captain Beyond, Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Captain Beefheart and Blue Cheer all dance to Fooz. The mystical Middle Eastern progressions that were once a large part of Fooz's native Spain mesh freely with incredibly inventive rock 'n' roll.

BLACK NASA is lead by frontman and bass-God Chris Kosnik, who cut his teeth in 90´s Shorecore heavies GODSPEED. But he´s best known as chief songwriter as blistering jam kings THE ATOMIC BITCHWAX, who spent a half-donzen years tearing down every lazy-ass preconception and retro stereotype that modern riff-rock has been saddled with.
Kosnik´s sights are now set on mainstream hard rock. The band´s second album, “DEUCE”, is a veritable arsenal of undeniable hooks and dead-on delivery, ready to fire up every rock fan whose patience for today´s angst-by-numbers Nu-lite paps is at its end.
Just 9 tracks and 35 minutes of rock, whatever you want put add with. A rock that comes from the same roots than their previous album, but in the end emerges like sounding some different kind of hard rock. Amazing chorus you´ll find at “Kamikaze” or “Thanks anyway”, 2 tracks becoming one of those success of this new year for the rock press. 2 perfect hit-singles, 2 songs that will see the band getting big.
BLACK NASA go a step forward from what´s classic stoner rock is, the same from bands like FU-MANCHU made great, even when “Thanks anyway” let you see that the usual stoner rock type formula gives up something close to the real thing, from time to time.
Maybe “Thanks anyway” deserves one of the best chorus in a song this year, a song which reflects that the american rock influences, from the most recent ones (FOO FIGHTERS), to the roots rock (GRAND FUNK), are all there together: “Hut Nut”, an instrumental slide rock track or “Kamikaze”, a good example of versatility, slide guitars, sinths, and a blowing mind chorus, another terrific good song.
BLACK NASA and “Deuce” tell you that this is serious, a trio rocking apart from any shade of the past, with a new and emerging crowd of hard rock fans coming after hearing what´s new on “Deuce”. Just check “Boozer” and “New World” to know what´s going to happen with BLACK NASA during this 2004.
